While visiting South Australia’s first and only “Sound and Light Show” at the Steamtown Heritage Rail Centre in Peterborough, you can also get a “Taste of the Outback” by tasting locally grown Olive Oil, and locally grown and prepared food.  You can also inspect historic carriages which traversed the Outback on the Transcontinental and The Ghan.

Food tastings are available from 9.00am till 5.00pm.

General opening times: Continuously 1.5hr guided tours from 9am till 3.30pm. 1 hour Sound and Light show at 8.45pm – booking essential.
